These are some quick examples from the Ota Benga book I'm reading. Samuel Verner was a missionary who went to Africa and while he was in London, a chimney fell and destroyed the chair that he had just risen from seconds before!! He also brought two African boys named Kassongo and Kondola back to America with him so that they could be educated. One day, at a meeting that Kassongo attended, two men began to fight each other for a seat, when a woman in the crowd noticed she yelled "FIGHT!" but everyone thought she had said "FIRE"and Kassongo was trampled to death in a rush to the exits.
